Oz Farm hosts overnight groups of up to twenty-five people. Recent visitors include groups celebrating family reunions, anniversaries, birthdays and weddings (up to 125 day guests); corporate or non-profit retreats; and workshops engaging in yoga, meditation, Tai Chi, cooking, art and river studies.

Available sleeping quarters include eight private, furnished buildings, which compliment the community house and barn, used for group activities.

The Main Camp, which consists of six wood cabins plus a wood-floored, canvas-clad yurt. The more independent Domes (two interconnecting wood-framed geodesic domes) may be rented alone or with the main camp.

Each of the Main Camp cabins sleeps at least two and is hidden in the hills around the central Community House which contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, restrooms with flush toilets, and hot-water bathing facilities (showers and bathtubs) plus a separate, ground level bedroom. The adjacent barn has a comfortable library and greenhouse, and its main interior space (pictured at right) has been turned into a gym-like area with a finished wood floor—excellent as a meeting, dance/practice or indoor recreation space.

Nestled in trees on a small bluff overlooking the river, the Domes features a spacious living area complete with its own fully equipped kitchen, indoor flush toilet, and hot-water, bathtub and outdoor shower. The Domes have a wide deck on the river side and another deck on the opposite side looking out over a field to woodlands. Its five sleeping areas can accommodate up to eight people.

Oz Farm's rustic facilities are a large part of its charm. Electricity (from off-the-grid solar panels and wind generator) is limited to lighting and not suitable for computers, stereos or other appliances. Except for the Community House and the Domes, there are outhouses at all cabins. Wood stoves heat all the buildings in the cooler months (firewood supplied). Groups provide their own cooks and food. See resources for planners page for suggestions for excellent local cooks (and other resources). Seasonal fresh produce is often available from our organic gardens (Organic Produce).
